Venue Arts recently completed the Chinese New Year display at the MGM Macau. As a part of the display, red and silver kinetic twist sculptures and bundles of 4-ft long red and gold fireworks suspend from the ceiling of The Grande Praca. Since 2013 is the ‘Year of the Snake,’ Stephen and his team custom designed and created a dimensional snake approximately 110-ft long that was skinned in tiles of yellow, green and red art glass for the occasion. The glass snake sculpture was designed to curve and wrap around a 10-ft sphere finished in pave mirror tiles patterned to create a look of cracked mosaic. This magnificent snake sculpture greeted visitors as they entered the MGM Macau casino while animated trees with blossoms of golden pinwheels generated good chi for the new year.
